
I arrived at the coast. I needed to leave the countryside—it was starting to feel claustrophobic. Walking along the waterfront, I stop to rest at the newly built lookout. On one side, powerful waves; on the other, a calm sea.
The blue mantle falls away, revealing the stars.
A bright flash illuminates the peaceful night. A comet tears across the sky, slowly making its way toward the inn where I am staying.
