MATINHOS, Paraná – September 26, 2025 (Friday)
These have been peaceful days here at Hostel Costa Terral, a cozy guesthouse on the coast of Paraná. September, however, has been unusually rainy and chilly, something the hosts say is uncommon for this time of year.
During this current chapter of my life as a backpacking filmmaker, I’ve been adopting a different routine in every place I visit.
The hostel offers several comfortable spaces, so I usually wake up early, have breakfast, grab whatever book I’m currently studying, and settle into one of its quiet corners. One day I’ll read on a poolside sun lounger, another day on a chair on the balcony, and sometimes on the outdoor sofa near the bar.
The peaceful atmosphere here on the coast of Paraná allowed me to finish producing my introductory 3D illustration workshop for computer graphics beginners, SAVE.3D.
From the afternoon until the evening, I dedicate myself entirely to producing content for ALUF Pictures’ clients.
One morning, though, I didn’t feel like reading. Instead, I woke up with the urge to create a new 3D illustration. Inspired by the outdoor area of Costa Terral, I modeled Seaside Pool—the image you see above.
Completing the SAVE.3D workshop brought me back to something I truly love: creating beautiful images just for fun.
